What the guidance says
Under EPA's Worker Protection Standard, "coveralls" means a loose one- or two-piece garment covering the body except the head, hands and feet. Handlers must wear exactly what the pesticide label requires. Heavily contaminated coveralls are to be discarded.

Know the limits
- None of our coveralls are chemical-resistant garments. Where a pesticide label calls for chemical-resistant protection, use what the label specifies.
- Not flame resistant. Keep them away from open flame, sparks and welding.
- Single-use nonwoven suits should not be laundered and reused.
Agriculture coverall FAQ
Are your coveralls chemical resistant?
No. Do not use them where a label or safety data sheet calls for chemical-resistant clothing. They keep dust, dirt and light splash off skin and clothes. Let us know if you need something we don't carry.
Can I wash and reuse a disposable coverall?
No. Nonwoven suits are single-use. If you want a suit you can wash, see the Ultra Spray Suit, but it is not chemical protective clothing either.
What's best for visitors on a poultry or livestock farm?
A hooded polypropylene coverall with boots or shoe covers, put on at the entry point and thrown away when the visitor leaves. Follow your operation's biosecurity plan.
